Fleur, I love this so much, as you can imagine. I’m also a lifelong library supporter and when I get back to Chicago, I try to stop in at all of the libraries of my childhood, my children’s childhood, my days teaching where I would meet with students … 😊
Fleur, good to see good news out here in the world! I'm excited to get a copy of your new NF project when it's published, How to Write Your MG & YA Mystery, and of course want more details on the book you hope to finish in May. :) And is this your first YA book?
That's exciting being on submission! Eager to read another book by you! And love to hear your journey with this however it comes about--trad, hybrid, indie. I've gone indie myself this year. It's a wonderful time with choices in publishing that work best for you. I let my 2nd agent go, pulled back on subs, created my own press, and built a great team around me with a designer, formatter, editor and publicist. I have 15 books in various stages and just want to produce quality books and get them out there. At 56, no more waiting :)

Libraries are magic :-)
Thanks for the shout-out, Fleur! :)
Just put a hold on Welcome to Murder Week - thanks for the tip!
You're welcome! I love that you found it at the library :-)
I'm looking forward to getting a copy of your non-fiction book.
Thank you! It's been a process...

It's the second book in a trilogy; the first is out on submission right now... I may end up publishing it independently :-)

I love your take-charge attitude! Very inspiring. I agree with the no more waiting--it's just out of control...
Agreed! And it’s very empowering and super fun. You can reach out to me anytime if you have questions about the process.😍
